Introduction to Knotbound

"Remember that our buttons are pushed by what is hidden deep inside:

there lies the power of persuasion; there lies life; there, if one may say so, lies the very self."

~Marcus Aurelius

You will have entered this site because you have some interest in the alternative lifestyle known as BDSM.  Your interest may be casual or you may be looking for a site with depth.  You may be new to the concepts of BDSM or you may be an experienced lifestyler with many years under your belt.  Whatever the reason, welcome.  I hope that you will find something of interest or value to you amongst the various bits and pieces I have chosen to create here.

Knotbound was originally a real time discussion group I started in Melbourne, Australia with the help and support of my Master.  We ran the group for a couple of years and it was much enjoyed by many people who came to our home and entered into lively and in depth discussions across a range of topics, exploring what it is that we do and why.  For the most part these were not introductory level discussions but an advanced topic list, going beyond the surface of BDSM play and socialising.  There have been requests to revive the group but life has not yet settled down enough for us to take this on again.  Perhaps sometime soon we might revisit that decision.

In the meantime Master has chosen to gift me with the domain, Knotbound, and has encouraged me to develop a site which will reflect the unique flavour that I bring to the world of BDSM.  I will warn everyone now, this is not a politically correct site.  There comes a time when the group need to be non conformist simply becomes a different kind of conformity.  I have never walked that path, instead choosing to embrace any thing that supports my own desires of how to live, my own philosophies of life, happiness and servitude.   This site is not about making people feel better about themselves.  It will be confronting to many, including those that have been doing what they do for a long time.  At worst, it may anger you.  At best, it will make you think.  That is all I hope to achieve.
